Meet the Team: Laura Bravo – Physiotherapist Concord

Q: When did you join Precision Physio

LB: July 2021 and have enjoyed every minute of it so far!

Q: Highlight of you time so far at Precision Physio

LB: Being around such a supportive environment and team.

Q: What made you want to become a Physiotherapist

LB: I have always loved sport and my dream job has always been to work with a professional sports team. Worked with the Australian Rugby 7s Mens and Womens teams and was exposed to physiotherapy during that time and fell in love with it!

Q: What’s your treatment philosophy

LB: I try to develop a connection with each of my clients to gain a better understanding of who they are so we can not only treat the injury but the person as a whole. Ensuring that the client understands exactly what is going on with them is also very important as it will assist in the recovery process and achieving their personal goals.

Q: When you’re not working what do you like doing

LB: Spending time with friends, family and my dog! I also like going to the gym, playing netball and being outdoors!

Q: Favourite sports team

LB: Tottenham Hotspur and the Sydney Swans!

Q: Favourite movie or TV show

LB: How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (any rom-com to be honest), and reality tv – especially the Real Housewives (it’s my guilty pleasure).

Q: Favourite food

LB: Sushi or anything sweet.

Q: If you’re in charge of music in the clinic, what’s playing

LB: Either old school R&B or anything Justin Bieber/Beyonce.

Q: Something not many people know about you

LB: Both parents are South African – hence my weird accent.
