Our Physio ball classes are a fantastic way to exercise your whole body at once in a comfortable, fun and safe atmosphere. We have classes suited to all ages and abilities, and they are designed to train the deep core muscles of the spine and abdominal area (“core stability”). Due to the unstable nature of exercising using the ball several muscle groups are worked in conjunction with each other to help balance and strengthen the body. Each class is led by an experienced physio and class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure you get a great workout whilst having close supervision for maximum benefit and safety.

When you attend our Physio ball classes regularly you will:

  • improve your posture – exercising whilst balancing on the ball builds postural awareness and strength
  • improve core stability - this means that your deep abdominal and spinal muscles, which are the most important support mechanism for your spine, are strengthened to improve posture, recover from pain and prevent injury
  • enhance flexibility and mobility - to relax, release and rejuvenate your whole body.
  • enhance muscle strength and definition
  • improve muscle balance and co-ordination - which can help prevent injuries
  • speed up recovery from injury
  • improve the health of your back - strengthens the structures directly responsible for spinal health and injury prevention
  • have lots of fun!

The classes are for all age groups and all levels of fitness. The small class size guarantees you will get all the attention you need to get the best results. You can develop your core stability under the safest conditions as our classes are run by experienced physio’s with in-depth knowledge of exercise prescription and because our classes are led by a physio you can claim your rebate from your health fund (subject to your level of cover – check with your fund for details). You do not have to have been injured or seen our physio’s to come and enjoy the benefits from attending the classes, so come on and join the fun!
