Our Physioball classes increase your core strength and are a fantastic way to exercise your whole body in a comfortable, fun and safe atmosphere. Classes suit all ages and abilities, and they are designed to train the deep core muscles of the spine and abdominal area (core stability).

Exercising using the moveable and unstable ball means that several muscle groups are worked in conjunction with each other to help balance and strengthen the body. Each class is led by an experienced physio and class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants to make sure you get a great workout whilst having close supervision for maximum benefit and safety.

When you attend our Physioball classes regularly you will:

  • Improve your posture exercising whilst balancing on the ball builds postural awareness and strength
  • Improve core stability - this means that your deep abdominal and spinal muscles, which are the most important support mechanism for your spine, are strengthened to improve posture, recover from pain and prevent injury
  • Enhance flexibility and mobility - to relax, release and rejuvenate your whole body.
  • Increase muscle strength and definition
  • Improve muscle balance and co-ordination - which can help prevent injuries

The classes are for all age groups and all levels of fitness. The small class size guarantees you will get all the attention you need to get the best results.

You will develop your core stability under the safest conditions because our classes are run by experienced physio's with extensive knowledge of exercise prescription. Because our classes are led by a physio you are able to claim your health fund rebate if you have cover for physiotherapy treatment.

You do not have to have been injured or seen our physio's to come and enjoy the benefits from attending the classes. In fact they are a great way to reduce the chance of having an injury that needs physio treatment ,so come on and join the fun!
